• Buy art materials to enable children and young adults to create, showcase and sell their art through the help of Brushes of Hope.
• The proceeds of the art sales from children,  help pay for school fees for children in the Kibera Pride Children’s home, where they live.  
• The young adult artists, who struggle to pay their university fees or desperately need funds to allow them to pursue higher education.  They also find it very difficult to meet their essential needs on a daily basis. 

Donations are used to either:

• Contribute to  school fees of children in the Kibera Pride Children’s home and other facilities.
• Pay for school materials and hidden extra costs.

For each donation, Brushes of Hope requests receipts from the receiver of the donation to guarantee they are used only for for the above purposes.

Sponsor the education of a child  or young adult in Kibera Slum  

We believe; 

• Investing in the education of a young person or child in Kibera slum can make a life-changing impact and considerably transform their future.


• Despite the promise of free education for primary school kids in Kenya, in Kibera they face insurmountable obstacles like additional fees, uniforms, school materials etc. Many families in the Kibera slum survive on just $1 a day, making education a distant dream.


• The high price of secondary school fees mean that many of the older kids miss out on vital education.


• While some well-wishers support children in Kibera, they often favor the academically gifted, leaving others behind. Sponorships help guarantee every child’s right to education.
