My name is Modest, I’m 11 years old and come from Kibera Slum. Art is my way of expressing myself through tough times. Living at Kibera Children’s Home for 4 years, art has become my passion and hope. I have been told that I have talent and that my skill is advanced for my age whichn really encourages me. Even if I live in poverty and life is hard, my talent for art helps me stay strong and creative.
